Happy Monday, everyone! It is pretty cold outside, winters setting in, and it is getting dark earlier…Probably my favorite harsh-winter album is Wrecking Ball by Dead Confederate. The songs on this album, described by Spin Magazine as “sluggish, sorrowful, searing, and Southern in virtually all the right ways,” evoke harsh winters and warm fires. Thus, it has been heavy on my personal rotation for the past week or so. So check out ‘The Rat’ live on KEXP Seattle:
